William E. Wilkinson started his career in Wellsboro in 1932. Wilkinson Dunn Company was formed in 1950 by William E. Wilkinson and Arthur H. Dunn. Bill Wilkinson began the sole ownership after the passing of Arthur H. Dunn until 1985. Wilkinson Dunn Company operated as independent insurance and real estate agents and brokers.

In 1985, Terry Neubold and Tom Rudy purchased the business from Bill Wilkinson. The Williamsport Agency & Williamsport Service Agency were purchased in 1988 and the Williamsport location established. In 1989, a Century 21 franchise was acquired and the real estate business operated as Century 21 Wilkinson Dunn Co. The insurance business of Wetzel-Rider Co. was purchased in 2003 and merged into Wilkinson Dunn Company.

Terry Neubold became the sole owner in 2004 and the Century 21 franchise was sold but continues to operate as Century 21 Wilkinson Dunn Co. Teri Carson and Bob Klein became shareholders in 2005 and are currently Executive Officers. The business operates as independent agents & brokers.
