William E. Wilkinson started his career in Wellsboro in 1932. Wilkinson Dunn Company was formed in 1950 by William E. Wilkinson and Arthur H. Dunn. Bill Wilkinson began the sole ownership after the passing of Arthur H. Dunn until 1985. Wilkinson Dunn Company operated as independent insurance and real estate agents and brokers.

In 1985 Terry L. Neubold and Thomas L. Rudy purchased the business from Bill Wilkinson. A Century 21 franchise was acquired in 1989 and the real estate business was later relocated and operated as Century 21 Wilkinson Dunn Co.

Terry Neubold became the sole owner in 2004 and the Century 21 franchise was sold to Tom Rudy. The business operates as independent insurance agents and brokers.
